Yale Cancer Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital present Understanding Cancer: A Lecture Series for patients and their families living with cancer. February's lecture, Surviving Cancer will be on Wednesday, February 9th in the Yale-New Haven Hospital East Pavilion Cafeteria. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Susan Mendelsohn, a cancer survivor, will lead a panel discussion focusing on using your body's energy as medicine and the healing power of energy. Peg Lewis, Yale-New Haven Hospital Chaplain, and Eileen Cain, MSW, LCSW, will join Ms. Mendelsohn and discuss the power or prayer and support in recovery.
