New Haven, Conn. - Yale Cancer Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital present Understanding Cancer: A Lecture Series for patients and their families living with cancer. October's lecture, Stem Cell Transplant will be on Wednesday, October 19th in the Yale-New Haven Hospital East Pavilion Cafeteria. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Francine Foss, Professor of Medicine, Medical Oncology, and an expert in stem cell transplantation will discuss stem cell transplants and the option they provide for treatment of some cancer patients with lymphoma. Guests will have the opportunity to ask Dr. Foss questions at the end of the program.
