New Support Group for Shoreline Patients and Families

New Haven, Conn. — Cancer patients living in the Shoreline communities of Connecticut are invited to attend a new support group in their community. A collaboration of Yale Cancer Center and the Yale-New Haven Shoreline Medical Center, the support group is free and open to anyone living with cancer and friends and family members of cancer patients.
Meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Yale-New Haven Shoreline Medical Center at 111 Goose Lane in Guilford, the support group will help participants build a personal network to navigate the path through cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Participation is free and a light supper will be provided.
