Understanding Cancer: New Discoveries in Cancer Treatment

New Haven, Conn - Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk, entitled, “New Discoveries in Cancer Treatment” on Wednesday, September 19th in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria.
The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. 
Edward Chu, MD, Deputy Director and Chief of Medical Oncology at Yale Cancer Center and Professor of Medical Oncology and Pharmacology at Yale School of Medicine, will review the innovative treatments and newly available clinical trials for cancer patients.  At the end of the presentation, guests will have time to ask Dr. Chu questions.
