Understanding Cancer: Treatment Side Effects

New Haven, Conn. - Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk, entitled, “Understanding Treatment Side Effects” on Wednesday, March 14th in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria.
The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m., the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. 
Wendelin Nelson, PharmD, Kelly Derosier, RN, Karen Coombe, RN, and Mary Crooks, MSW, LCSW will review some of the common side effects that result from cancer treatment and explain methods to help manage the side effects.  At the end of the presentation, guests will have time to ask questions of the panel.
