Understanding Cancer: Ovarian Cancer Prevention and Early Detection

New Haven, Conn. -  Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk, entitled, “Ovarian Cancer: Prevention and Early Detection of the Disease” on Wednesday, September 10th in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria.

The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. 

Thomas Rutherford, PhD, MD, Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences and Director of the Yale Cancer Center Gynecologic Oncology Program, will present the latest information on ovarian cancer.  At the end of the presentation, guests will have time to ask Dr. Rutherford questions.
