Lynn D. Wilson, MD, MPH Named Vice Chairman/Clinical Director of the Department of Therapeutic Radiology

Dr. Peter M. Glazer, Chairman of the Department of Therapeutic Radiology, has announced Dr. Lynn Wilson Vice Chairman and Clinical Director of the department. Dr. Wilson is an Associate Professor of Therapeutic Radiology and has extensive experience as a clinical radiation oncologist.
“Dr. Wilson is an outstanding physician and experienced administrator, and I am confident his talent and expertise will benefit patient care at Yale Cancer Center,” Dr. Glazer said.
Dr. Wilson's clinical and research interests include cutaneous lymphoma, lymphoma, lung, head and neck, and skin cancer. Dr. Wilson is on the editorial board of numerous oncology journals and is internationally recognized as a leader in the use of radiotherapy for the treatment of cutaneous lymphoma. He is the Principal Investigator for a phase I clinical trial using a combination of Transimmunization and external beam radiation therapy for the treatment of stage IV and IIIb Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). Dr. Wilson recently obtained a grant from the Connecticut Department of Public Health resulting from the state's share of the Master Tobacco Settlement funds to partially support this trial.
A graduate of Denison University, Dr. Wilson received a Masters of Public Health from Yale University School of Medicine and his Medical Degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine and Therapeutic Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and served as Chief Resident in 1993.
