Free health talk on new advances in breast cancer treatment

Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk, entitled, “New Advances in the Treatment of Breast Cancer” on Wednesday, October 11 in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria at 20 York Street in New Haven. A light supper will be served at 6 p.m., the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. Dr. Lyndsay Harris, co-director of the Yale-New Haven Breast Center and director of Yale Cancer Center's breast cancer program, will discuss the newest advances in the treatment of breast cancer and clinical trials available for women at Yale Cancer Center. Following her lecture, there will be a question and answer session for guests.
