Understanding Cancer: Living with Advanced Breast Cancer

New Haven, Conn. - Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Cancer Center will present a free health talk, entitled, “The Patient’s Guide to Living with Advanced Breast Cancer” on Wednesday, October 10th in Yale-New Haven Hospital's East Pavilion cafeteria.
The lecture is part of the ongoing Understanding Cancer Lecture Series for patients and families living with cancer. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.; the lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. 
Michael DiGiovanna, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Medical Oncology and Pharmacology at Yale School of Medicine, will review the innovative treatments and newly available clinical trials for women with breast cancer.  At the end of the presentation, guests will have time to ask Dr. Di Giovanna questions.
