On Tuesday, July 28th, we held a town meeting to update the cancer center community on progress in Smilow Cancer Hospital and introduce the clinical leadership teams.
The list below indicates those individuals who will be responsible for organizing the transition of multispecialty care to Smilow. We anticipate that not every clinic will be exactly the same - one size does not fit all - however, we are committed to ensuring that each disease program meets the needs of its patients and promotes multidisciplinary care whenever possible.
If you have general questions or concerns, please feel free to provide your feedback to Peter Marks. For disease specific concerns, please contact the individual team leaders.
As the number of daily workers within Smilow Cancer Hospital increases to over 450, the hospital and contractor are revising the tour polices to continue to ensure both a safe and productive work environment. For this reason, general building tours have been put on hold until a new policy is implemented. We will advise when the general tours will resume shortly.
Questions can be directed to David Vinas, Transition Leader, at 688-2973.
