Smilow Update
The construction team at Smilow Cancer Hospital is working on the finishing details of the entrance and lobby for the building opening in October. Final set-up is in progress on the 4 MRIs that are installed in the building. The Radiation Oncology (LL), the Breast Center (1), and Gynecologic Oncoloy (1) clinic spaces are nearly complete. On the second floor, the diagnostic radiology space is in the final stages of construction. All elevators are scheduled for installation within the next two weeks.

Shared Resource Highlight
Immune Monitoring The Immune Monitoring Core Facility provides a core resource for clinical and translational research protocols that involve immunotherapy and/or that affect the human immune system. Consultations regarding optimal immunologic assessment, assay development for innovative evaluation approaches, and provision of assays on a fee-for-service basis are all part of our mission.
