Jessica Marie Coviello, MSN, RN
Associate Professor of Nursing and of Medicine (Cardiology)
Jessica Coviello is an Associate Clinical Professor/Lecturer at Yale University School of Nursing. She has taught at the school since 1983.
For over 30 years, Jessica Coviello has been in practice focusing on cardiovascular disease prevention and management. She is particularly interested in self-care management in patients with heart failure.
Ms. Coviello obtained her nursing diploma from the Lankenau School of Nursing, a B.S. in nursing from Southern Connecticut State University, and her M.S.N. from Yale University School of Nursing.
Active in the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, she has also served with the Connecticut Society for Cardiac Rehabilitation where she has been president, vice-president, and treasurer. Ms. Coviello has also served with the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau – Delta Mu Chapter, the Connecticut Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and the Connecticut Nurse Practitioners Group.
