Structural biology of signal transduction


Research Summary

My laboratory works towards understanding atomic-level mechanisms of signal transduction regulation. We have three primary areas of research.

  1. Cytokine signal transduction by the Janus kinases;
  2. Integrin-associated signaling cascades;
  3. Trp channel regulation.

Our goals are to utilize structural studies to understand the atomic-level mechanisms of signal transduction regulation, to investigate pathologic mechanisms of signal dysregulation, and to aid in drug discovery applications.
