American Psychoanalytic Association Honors Neustadter with Fellowship Position

Eli Neustadter, MD, MSc, a Geriatric Psychiatry fellow in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, has been awarded a 2024-25 fellowship position with the American Psychoanalytic Association.

The program provides an opportunity to gain knowledge about psychoanalysis and become involved in the local and national psychoanalytic community.

The Fellowship program is designed as an early-career initiative for future leaders and educators in the fields of academia, mental health, psychiatry, psychology, social work, and multidisciplinary endeavors. It provides an opportunity to gain knowledge about psychoanalysis and become involved in the local and national psychoanalytic community.

Neustadter will be invited to attend the association’s 2025 National Meeting, to be held Feb. 4-9, 2025 in San Francisco. The fellowship award includes complimentary travel, lodging, meals, and meeting registration expenses. Fellows are also assigned a mentor. Mentors help fellows set and address goals and guide them through the association’s program before the National Meeting.
