Smilow Cancer Hospital Nurses to Present at World’s Largest Oncology Nursing Conference

Nurses from Yale New Haven Health’s Smilow Cancer Hospital (SCH) will showcase their latest research from April 9–13 at the 50th Annual Congress of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in Denver, Colo. ONS, a professional organization comprising of more than 35,000 healthcare professionals, hosts this international event for nursing oncology professionals to exchange knowledge and advance the field of cancer care.

SCH nurses will deliver research through oral and poster presentations. Presentation topics include managing side effects associated with new cancer therapies, evaluating the evolving field of cellular therapy, monitoring oral chemotherapy drugs, and utilizing digital technology to empower nursing care.
