Patricia Peter, MD, is an endocrinologist specializing in the treatment of thyroid disorders (including Graves' disease, thyrotoxicosis, and postpartum thyroiditis), diabetes, and hormone-related disorders. She is the quality improvement and patient safety coordinator for Endocrinology.
Dr. Peter’s research explores treatment options for diabetes without insulin, the rising costs of diabetes care, and personalized management for individuals with type 2 diabetes. Her work examines treatment options for aggressive thyroid cancer and the impact of hormone therapy in transgender men on blood vessel function.
