Community Outreach and Engagement Liaisons

Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) Liaisons assume a leadership role in their Yale Cancer Center Research Programs, Clinical Research Teams, or other YCC component to serve as liaison to Community Outreach and Engagement activities.

COE Liaisons:

  • Identify ways to catalyze catchment area-focused research within their research program or clinical research team
  • Discover opportunities to expand research related to Connecticut cancer burden
  • Shape data infrastructure to help provide timely, catchment area-relevant data to YCC members
  • Help their members access opportunities to partner with community advisors and disseminate findings to lay audiences

There are 23 COE Liaisons representing all 6 Research Programs, 14 Clinical Research Teams, and the Clinical Trial Office.
