On September 21, 2023, a celebration was held in honor of Christina Holt, MSN, APRN (BC), ACHPN, OCN, who was recognized by The Hastings Center and The Cunniff-Dixon Foundation for Outstanding End-of-Life Care. Many came out to recognize and celebrate Christina and her accomplishments.
Christina is a nurse practitioner with the Smilow Cancer Hospital Palliative Care Program. She received her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from Fairfield University, where she trained as a family nurse practitioner. She holds certifications as an advanced certified hospice and palliative nurse and an oncology certified nurse.
The Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Nursing Awards honors nurses for outstanding care provided to patients nearing the end of life. The mission of the Foundation is to enrich the relationship of health care providers and patients who are near the end of life.
