What Does Cancer Survivorship Mean to Me?

• 00:00Hello everybody, I'm
• 00:01Angela Corolla and I'm the
• 00:04clinical social worker for the
• 00:05Yale Cancer Center Survivorship
• 00:07Clinic and what survivorship means to
• 00:09me is an opportunity to be able to sit
• 00:12down with survivors. An really talk
• 00:14about process, not only the
• 00:15impact that cancer and cancer
• 00:17treatment has had on their life,
• 00:19but also the impact that it may
• 00:21even still be having on their life,
• 00:23socially, emotionally,
• 00:24spiritually, financially,
• 00:25sexually, all aspects of the life,
• 00:27as well as being able to identify
• 00:29ideas and strategies with how to move.
• 00:31Forward and to adjust to their new model.
• 00:34It is a great privilege and honor
• 00:36to be able to have this opportunity
• 00:38to work with cancer survivors,
• 00:40and I thank you for that.
• 00:42I want to wish all
• 00:43of you a happy cancer.
