The 2nd Annual Yale Urology Bulldog Debates was held at the Yale Club in New York City and featured keynote speakers Jill C. Buckley, MD, MBA, Chester J. Koh, MD, MBA, Curtis A. Pettaway, MD, and Landon Trost, MD.
A new 2024 feature was the resident skills event, which was run by Stanton Honig, MD, and Katherine Rotker, MD. Residents, research fellows, APPs, and even an alum or two got to experience the hands-on skills lab, which included penile implantation, artificial urinary sphincter placement, vasectomy, and other urologic technologies.
The weekend continued later that evening with a welcome-networking reception.
Another first of this year's event was the inaugural Robert M. Weiss Distinguished Alumni Medal that went to Michel Pontari, MD, who completed his Yale residency training in 1991 under the tutelage of the award's namesake.
The CME portion of the event continued with lectures, presentations, and debates from the keynote speakers and Yale faculty, which included a rebuttal, rap style, by Joseph Brito, MD, and Timothy Tran, MD.
