Biomedical Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Symposium 2024

On August 1st, 2024, Dr. Faye Rogers hosted the Biomedical Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Symposium. The Yale BioMed Amgen Scholars Program is a research-intensive summer training program in biomedical research for undergraduate students who plan to obtain a PhD or MD-PhD in the biomedical sciences. The keynote speaker this year was Enrique DeLa Cruz, PhD, William R. Kenan Professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry; Head, Branford College, followed by remarks from Nancy Brown, MD, Jean and David W. Wallace Dean of the Yale School of Medicine and C.N.H. Long Professor of Internal Medicine. The event concluded with Student Research Presentations.

The Yale BioMed Amgen Scholars Program is a research-intensive summer training program in biomedical research for undergraduate students who plan to obtain a PhD or MD-PhD in the biomedical sciences. The goals of this program are to recruit students from diverse backgrounds and experiences to careers in biomedical research and to provide them with knowledge, skills and resources to help them succeed as scientists or physician-scientists.
