Natalie Smith, RDN, CSO

Natalie is a Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She manages the nutritional needs of adult Oncology patients both during and after they’ve completed their active cancer treatment.

Natalie has over 8 years of oncology nutrition experience within the Smilow network and is highly skilled in working with a variety of oncology patients including but not limited to: breast, gastrointestinal, prostate, esophageal, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, cervical/ovarian, lung and pancreatic.

In addition to having a strong passion for caring for oncology patients, Natalie has a special interest in working closely with the Head and Neck Cancer population. She has strived to improve and streamline the care that Head and Neck Cancer patients receive in an effort to enhance the quality of care and support they are given during their cancer treatment and beyond.

Natalie recently joined the Smilow Survivorship Clinic and Smilow Integrative Medicine Program. She will be providing nutrition counseling alongside the rest of the multidisciplinary team to improve the nutritional health of cancer patients across the spectrum. She is most excited to spend valuable time and build lasting relationships with patients while making sure they feel supported on their journey to a healthier lifestyle.
