Overview

Suguru Imaeda, MD, is a dermatologist who says he enjoys educating patients about their health and helping train the next generation of doctors.

“I like the challenge of trying to be better every day and having the ability to form long-term relationships with patients while being entrusted with their health and skin health,” Dr. Imaeda says. “Dermatology requires expertise in skin disease, but also requires extensive knowledge of all disciplines of medicine, including internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, immunology, rheumatology, surgery, and pathology.”

He says he tries to put a patient’s concern in perspective to the overall context of their well-being. Dr. Imaeda specializes in melanoma, dysplastic nevi, skin cancer, skin cancer surgery, and skin cancer screening.
